Please note that the Cosca Pavilion at Cosca Regional Park will only be available for rental from May 1, 2025, to June 15, 2025, due to upcoming construction at the lake that will take place later in June. During this period, the area around the pavilion and the lake will experience significant traffic from construction vehicles. Picnic Shelters 1-6 will still be available to rent. Additionally, the playground at Cosca Regional Park will be closed until further notice.
With more than 690 acres located in southern Prince George’s County, Louise F. Cosca Regional Park features both natural, undeveloped areas and land that has been developed for recreational use. The park is located in Clinton, Maryland, near Andrews Air Force Base.
Amenities include a nature center, a skate park, campsites, picnic shelters, both outdoor tennis courts and a tennis bubble, baseball/softball fields, multipurpose athletic fields, hiking trails, horseshoes, volleyball, and more. Reservation Details
- Picnic Shelters are reserved from 10 am to 7 pm on Sunday-Saturday.
- Must be a verified Prince George’s or Montgomery County resident at least 21 years of age to reserve.
- Non-residents may reserve certain shelters at Watkins Regional Park or Cosca Regional Park.
- Picnic shelter reservations must be made 72 business hours in advance.
- A $100 security deposit in addition to the rental fee is due at the time of reservation.
- All reservations must be made online via your Parks Direct Account.

Prohibited Activity
- Electricity is not available at any of the shelters.
- Amplification or excessive noise is prohibited.
- Moon bounces, dunk tanks, or pony rides are not permitted.
- No sale of merchandise.
- No bands or amplified music.
- No generators or propane.

Weather Cancellation Policy
No refunds or reschedules will be processed due to rain, snow, or other weather issues.
