Commemorate America 250 and discover the history in your own backyard at Marietta Historic Site & Museum!  

M-NCPPC invites you to free Community Days at historic sites and museums throughout Prince George’s County. Explore local stories, meet community partners, and experience the people and places that make our county’s history so unique. 

You can also get your Pastport to History stamped on Community Days! 

Pack a picnic lunch, bring your people, and enjoy free activities designed for all ages! 

FREE activities may include: 

  • Tour the historic house 
  • Visit the 250th Community Portrait Gallery 
  • Join the discussion: “The Declaration of Independence & What It Means Today” 
  • Listen to original poems by Diane Wilbon Parks 
  • Shop the local Farmers Market 
  • Explore music, family crafts, nature center artifacts, & local archaeology finds
