Arts and Cultural Heritage Division Chief (Grade 34)
The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC), Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George's County, a bi-county organization where you “WORK WHERE YOU PLAY”, is seeking a Division Chief to manage the coordination of the Arts and Cultural Heritage Division’s performing, visual and public art programs, three (3) art centers, a performing art center, five (5) historic rental properties, and an equestrian center.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the hundreds of regional concerts, exhibitions, performances, classes, camps, festivals, mobile art activity services, heritage celebrations, three (3) touring theatre ensembles, a year-round youth theatre program, and a comprehensive teen art program. They must have knowledge of and strong connections with the county and regional arts community. As well as being self-motivated, organized and experienced in property, program, staff, and fiscal management, along with handling community relations and establishing partnerships and collaborations. This is a fast-paced, and demanding work environment.
Pay Grade Range: $88,332.00 - $156,439.00 Annually
